IT'S RAINING! IT'S POURING!

FINALLY, Rain - We have been waiting and patiently mind you for this day since Easter, as well as hoping it would come before the new umbrella was completely ruined (we just got it and already missing three rungs) oops! - now four. Maybe that umbrella needs to go back to Target. Here I am in the middle of SEVERE tornando warnings with my 2yr old daughter standing on the front porch - in the rain (I didnt know - until the sirens started going off) Well the 5 minutes out there was fun. Happy Camper - umbrella back in until the next storm.

HOPPY EASTER!

We had a wonderful Easter - this was the first year that Brooklyn was excited about her basket - she had such a good time. We spent the day at "the Resort" (my parents house) and ate way too much - so now I am back to counting points and trying to get back to my size 4 jeans - I have been out of control so it may take a bit - but I am DETERMINED!
Ohh and Brooklyn's basket is only way bigger because it was filled with toys the other kids were filled with Gift Cards - the gift of choice. And Blane got one too but wouldnt pose.

And.........we dont forget the reason for the holiday is Jesus.

HE IS ORANGE!

Scott did Carrie's true color test and here are his results:

Scott, your true color is Orange!
You're a bold, confident orange. A warm, powerful color that indicates a strong, welcoming personality, orange is the mark of people who are social and extroverted by nature. Vibrant, with an upbeat attitude, you have a bright, inviting demeanor. Energetic and fun-loving, you're a real friend-magnet. Your easy charm and unassuming manner make you the sort of person people want to meet and get to know better. Well-rounded and fun to be around, you enjoy helping others, so it's no surprise that orange also symbolizes attraction. Orange is an extraordinary color — for an extraordinary person.

Extraordinary - that's why I married him!

WHAT COLOR ARE YOU.....

I did Carrie's color test and here are the results:

Debbi, your true color is Black!
Your color is black. The color of night. Serene and mysterious,
black conjures up images of elegant evening gowns, dashing
tuxedos, and gleaming limousines. Traditionally a symbol of
success, black also represents power and an uncompromising
demand for perfection. Not surprisingly, you tend to set challenging goals
for yourself and do whatever it takes to achieve them — your strength of character is second to none. This unfaltering determination, along with your natural elegance, impresses people. But keep in mind that your personality might be intimidating to some. Try to temper your demanding side with a little softness — trust us, it won't kill you. Overall, though, black is the color of professionalism and achievement, which means it's clearly the color for you.

AND AN EGG HUNTING WE DID!

We wore our little egg hunter out on Saturday - First we went to the Egg Hunt at Warren Park in Frisco - what a great hunt there were 60,000 eggs and treats - Brooklyn tore it up on the 1-2 yr old field she filled two baskets and then pics with the Easter Bunny that did not go over well. Mom and Dad had to join in on the picture - the bunny freaked her out - she IS scared of EVERYTHING.

Then we were off to her friend Noah's EGGSTRAVAGANZA at his school - Another egg hunt, pony rides(didnt do that - Scared), Petting Zoo (she did do that) - Dad even found "the easter bunny" in the petting zoo, train rides (did it but didnt like it), and a huge bounce house

And there is Brookie's horse - but no Brookie!

Then back to our house for Egg decorating - they really got in to that - we started out with a bunch of pretty different colored eggs and we ended up with all of them being a beautiful shade of brownish-green, but they had a blast doing them.

Even the dogs couldnt wait to get in to see what all the fun was about.

What a long fun filled day - it was Eggsellent!

JESSICA TURNS 9!

Well Jessica is almost to the double digits - that makes me feel old - I started dating Scott when she was 3 - Wow time flies. For her birthday party she invited a couple of girls over for a sleepover and we had a few friends and family. We got her a Wii - she went home and I have been hooked since. My favorite game is Dancing with the Stars - what a workout. I have been playing 3 days straight and I went from being horrible at it - to...... still being horrible at it, but it sure is fun. You know what they say "white girls cant dance" and boy is that true in my case - NO RHYTHM - so sad!

TEXAS SNOW!

Snow twice in one week - who would have guessed it with a day of almost 70 degree weather in between. Brooklyn's first time to ever get out in the snow and she LOVED it - even completely drenched and cold she didnt want to come in. She made an attempt at snow angels like brother Kamdon. All the way to school in the car she kept saying over and over "NiHao Snow" - which means Hi Snow in chinese.

I had to drag all three kids in at the end of the day -
even the "snow dog" Rocky thought it was too cold about 10 minutes was enough for him.

OUR NEW HOUSE

Ok - for those of you who havent made it out to see our house here is a preview - we have been in for about 6 weeks - I spent the first week unpacking, the next two painting 7 rooms and ever since planning my next projects - I love it there is so much to do. I havent even begun to think about what we are going to do to the yard - Scott and I did spend the whole first Saturday burying an underground dog fence - we only wanted the dogs to have access to half of the yard and we needed something that was going to be effective at keeping Rocky IN THE YARD - he is the master of escape, and so far it has worked. It didnt take long for them to figure out where the pain begins. We love house guests so bring a paint brush and come on over - heehee. Our next major project is having the LEOPARD PRINT thats right I said leopard print carpet installed in the study and media room - I cant wait!
