MEMORIAL DAY AT THE RESORT

Picture Overload - Sorry - best way to describe the weekend.  Scott, Brooklyn and I went out Friday night and spent the night so he could play golf Saturday morning.  Then went home Saturday night and on Sunday went back out there along with Kamdon and Bailey and Cayman (Bailey's friend).

Look at that little cutie - no dad no you with the nice white lips - I was talking about Bronson.

CAKES OF THE WEEK - SWEETHEARTS DANCERS, MOM'S BIRTHDAY & DASON'S GRADUATION

This was a repeat order for me I did the Centennial High School dance teams banquet last year (pink and zebra print) and I guess it was such a hit they ordered this one this year.  I loved the way it looked - so elegant - their theme was "reach for the stars".

Mom's birthday cake was revolved around Mary Engelbreit - I got the silicone flower pots and the idea stemmed from there.  Then I got over creative and decorated her gift bag to match.

My nephew Dason had his 18th birthday, graduated from High School and got accepted to BYU Hawaii (lucky) all at once so I incorporated it all in to a cake for him over Memorial Day weekend while they were here in town.  He absolutely LOVED it or the thought that it was made just for him.  It seems like grew up over night and what a great kid.  I hope he has the time of his life in Hawaii - couldn't ask for a better place to go to school.

ABRA KADABRA - WYATT TURNS 6!

Sweet Baby Bronson
Wyatt Wescoat had his 6th birthday party at a really cute Magic shop in downtown McKinney.  the downstairs was a shop where they demonstrated tricks and you could buy them.  Then we went upstairs where the party started with a magic show with a talking bird, which Brooklyn LOVED.  All throughout the rest of the show she kept leaning over telling me she wished they would bring out the bird again.  Then they had an hour for cake and presents.  It was a great party - unlike any we had other been to.  Great job Sara and Scott!

And of course I made the cake - Wyatt was set on a football cake - so I tried to talk him in to a top hat with a football coming out instead of a rabbit but he would not hear of it - so a football field it was.
