HAPPY 5 YEAR ANNIVERSARY!

Last week Scott had to travel for work to Canouan Island (I hadn't heard of it either until he told me he had to go there - it is a very small island in between St. Vincent and Barbados) and as his "best assistant" I had to go with him. And let me tell you I did alot of work while I was there - on my tan lines that is. We were gone for 6 days - 2 of which were LONG travel days - on our flight from St. Lucia to Canouan there was Me, Scott and one other woman on the whole flight - so now we know what it feels like to have our own private plane.

Check me out at baggage claim - this airport was SMALL.

The hotel is called the Raffles Resort and it was amazing - it is like a small village consisting of villas that range from $495 to $10,000 per night - he was there to design a lighting package for the whole property - it was so big that he started with 4 of the main areas with the hopes of completing the rest of the property in phases. They are in dire need of light and it is going to be absolutely beautiful lit up. There are no cars allowed in the resort everyone is issued their own golf court - pretty cool. Rob is in charge of landscape and that is who Scott worked with all week and I had the pleasure of meeting him and his wife Maureen which is who I spent most of the week hanging at the beach with.

King of the Island - he thinks!

On Wednesday Scott and I celebrated our 5 year Anniverssary - time has flown by and we have evolved in to a GREAT couple - I love being married to him. Contract renewed!

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY BABE!
This coconut fell out of the tree near where I was laying out at the
beach - I almost got bonked.

Thanks Rob and Maureen for your hospitality!

BLANE'S NEW RIDE

Today Blane helped with the purchasing process of his first brand new car. BETSY (that's what we called the old 1999 Ford Explorer - which we gave Blane when he turned 16) finally gave up. She gave us many good years but the transmission is done. So today we took Blane down to the Toyota dealer and he picked out a NICE 2009 Toyota Corolla Sport - Silver with black interior. He is so excited to finally have a car that doesn't guzzle the gas - he was a smart shopper too - we considered many other vehicle options but he wanted to go with something that got really good gas mileage. He is already talking about everything he wants to do to it - typical guy - new rims, sound system maybe even a little neon lighting inside. I am just glad I have one less Miss Daisy to drive around - I have enough to do with Kamdon and Bailey. Now Scott wants to get a Toyota Corolla to to drive back and forth to work to help take some miles from his Mercedes (since it is a lease) so we may end up getting another one (which Kamdon will inherit next year when he turns 16) - lucky kid would end up with a pretty much brand new car. Our neighbor is a manager at the Toyota dealership so we really appreciated the help with getting a great deal.

PARTY AT THE PARK...

Today we went to Wyatt's birthday party at the Park.  The whole party was actually based around a really cool race track and remote control cars, Brooklyn wanted nothing to do with the racing of cars instead she wanted to play on the park the whole time.  We had a great time and all the way home she sung "Happy Birthday WYATTTTTT" at the top of her lungs, it was so cute.

My first day after surgery and what a great day to be outside.

BAILEY'S SOCCER SEASON IS OVER!

LUCKY NUMBER 7! That was Bailey's number this year on the Roach (Sam and Ann Roach) Middle School soccer team. She had a great time on the team although it was a short season. We won two of the four games. That was the beginning and the end of her soccer career in the Frisco ISD as we move to McKinney ISD next year. Look out Sam Johnson Middle school HERE SHE COMES.

She has turned out to be quite the little athlete.

THE NEW TABLE ARRIVES

I love it - there are eight yes EIGHT chairs enough room so we can all sit at the table together. Our old table (which is now a scrapbook table upstairs) had only four chairs so everytime we wanted to have a family dinner we were pulling out folding chairs. We now even have one extra (hint, hint Scott). It matches our living room perfectly - hmmmm now the question is? what room to decorate next? Just kidding Scott, I will give it a break for now - or at least until Father's Day - heehee.

UNDER THE KNIFE

Today was surgery day for me - I had my insides put back to the way they were before the four kids that I had rearranged them. Love the kids and they were completely worth it but I HATE SURGERY. Anyway I feel like a new person now and my stomache seems to be way flatter - I am hoping it stays that way. So now I have 6 weeks of recovery.........no lifting anything heavier than a gallon of milk (sorry Brooklyn)......no cleaning - bummer (we have to use a cleaning service)........and no driving for at least a week. So what do you do while recovering? Well I am tagging along with Scott on a business trip to the Canouan Island (I had never heard of this place but it looks amazing!) - where better to recover than relaxing by the pool right? We leave on the 26th and I cant wait - And sorry Brooklyn you are not going this time. I wouldnt want him to spend our 5 year anniversary without me there.

HAPPY MUSTHER'S DAY!

We had a great "Musther's Day" - that's how Brooklyn says it. We went out to Granbury and spent the day at "the Resort", even Blane blessed us with his presence. It was a beautiful day, the pool was heated and the jet skis were ready for riding. Carrie, Brad and the kids as well as Mark and McKayla were also out there. Scott swam with the kids and Carrie and I just did a little sun bathing - we have got to tan those white bodies, Blane and Mark were the only ones who jet skied - the wind was kind of cold. It was a great relaxing day and I was SPOILED - Scott and the kids got me a new Coach purse (a big one - Scott says time to give up the diaper bag) and he gave me an American Express gift card (some MAD money) - I need that. I had told him not to get me anything because I had purchased a new kitchen table and chairs and it's being delivered on Thursday (Happy Mother's Day to ME) we NEED a new one bad. I got mom some candle oil stakes to go by the pool and a hummingbird blown glass bud vase. I also had a vase for Grandma as well as a hanging flower basket. Anyway, I sure do LOVE being a mom (my kids are great and the daily reward is undescribable, I couldn't ask for more) and I also enjoy spending time on a regular basis with my mom and Grandma - it is truly a blessing to have such a great family - I love this holiday.

THIS DRESS IS SOOOOO CUTE!

BROOKLYN'S FIRST HAIRCUT

Brooklyn is two and has never had her hair cut and it is really long but also really stringy. We decided that today would be the day so off to Sweet & Sassy we went. They do a my first haircut package which includes all the special treatment. I thought it was going to be a big deal getting her hair cut (seeing she is afraid of eveyone)but she was such a big girl - she got up in the chair and did it like a pro. I was so proud. She got to choose the color of her cape and purple it was. Then after Jessica (her stylist) cut her hair she got glittler spray and glitter stars on her face and even a cotton candy hairspray that smelled sooooo yummy.

AND THAT'S HOW A SASSY DIVA DOES IT!

Haircut prize a rojo (red) sucker and a lil puppy.
