BLANE'S GRADUATION PARTY

We followed up Blane's graduation from Centennial High School with a graduation party the following night. It was in honor of four boys including Blane, David Perez, Cole Cantu and Blake Underwood - a very tight group of friends all through high school. We had a great turn out somewhere in the ballpark of 140 people and everyone seemed to have a great time. It was nice to get to catch up with a lot of friends and family that I haven't seen in a long time. The food was catered by Randy White's barbeque which was wonderful. The planning process was as much fun as the party. Melissa (David's mom) Janie (Cole's mom) and Gabby (Blake's mom) and myself got together several times over the past few months for drinks and snacks to do some planning but mostly gossiping and swapping stories about the boys. Scott was in charge of the audio (top 40's for the 4 years they were in school) and a video consisting of at least 425 pictures of the boys from birth on up - which we had playing on a big screen throughout the whole party - it was a great touch. Blane even ended the party with a great "Thank You" speech to all the mom's involved - I am so proud of him and what a great kid he is (it must be the way he was raised right?) - I can't wait to see what life brings him next.

We each decorated our manequin to look like our kid as well as their individual tables and we each broght a different cake.

Also CONGRATS! to my niece Tiff she also graduated High School on the 5th and is now on a trip in China for 12 days which is what she received as a graduation gift from her parents.
