Carrie has Sam in a little learning group with some of the ladies from church and she asked if Brooklyn wanted to be a part of it too. Sounds fun so of course we do. They are rotating each week to different houses (the clincher is that each mom will have to teach two of the classes - EEEEK! Not my favorite thing to do) Her week seems to be filling up with fun things to do. The class is about an hour and a half and each week has a theme. We start out with about 20 minutes of learning about a letter, colors, shapes the weather, month and day of the week. Then from there we do some some crafty projects followed by the best part "the SNACK". Then we do circle time with some songs and a couple of stories. Then at the end the kids are set free to play. And the best part it is all FREE. Next year we will do an actual preschool but this is perfect for preparing her for what a classroom will be like.
Showing me her art work - we glued and glittered, practiced cutting straight lines and made a solar system - all with goofy grins
