Tonight Bailey and Kamdon are going to their dad's for the whole month of July so we decided to make this a day of pampering before she left. I had a hair appointment (bad roots) and Bailey has been begging me to get her hair done so we started there. We had to go to Keller because that's where Rhonda (my hair girl - she has been doing it for 12 years and is now working out of her house - the only reason I drive that far) lives. I got a little blonder and Bailey got a little shorter. She loved her new cut, Brooklyn's hair stayed the same - cute little pig tails. From there we went to Plato's Closet - Bailey wanted to sell some of her old clothes and purses - there was a 45 minute wait so we found the nearest nail salon and got a pedicures while we waited. Even Brooklyn partook in this part of the pampering - it was funny she was so in to it - HIGH MAINTENANCE already - she got fingers and toes hot pink with flowers on her thumbs and big toes - so did Bailey. It felt great - I haven't had a pedicure in a long time - I forgot how great they were. Then to top of the day we stopped and got a starbucks - Baileys loves the chocolate frozen drinks and Brookie got some Organic Vanilla milk - which she downed in about 30 seconds flat. When we got home Bailey told me "this was a great day". Maybe we will do it again before school starts when she gets home in August. I am going to miss them and I know Brooklyn will too.
It takes alot to be presentable
