RONALD'S UNDERWATER ADVENTURE

Tonight we set out for our second stamp on our McDonald's Roadtrip Adventure Map - it was the underwater themed playland and it was cute. I guess I have never paid attention to the fact that the play areas are all different. Carrie is out of town so she didn't go with us but we did get a good scolding by her when I told her we went without her - "YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO GO WITHOUT US - THIS IS THE LAST TIME -NO MORE" - is what she told me. I can't help it she ran off to San Antonio to have fun without us. Brooklyn is turning into to a pro at the roadtrip game, she knows exactly what to do when we get there - she takes her map right up to the counter and asks for her stamp. And after she eats her "kicken" she thinks she automatically gets "hos cream" because we did it the last time since the playland was out of commission. Kamdon went along for the free meal - now we only have 6 more to check out to get our free happy meals, premium salad and iced coffee.

SIZZLING HOT DINNER

We have turned our Fridays into Sushi nights - usually Scott picks up take out on his way home from work. This week we decided to go OUT to Hibachi Rock and realized once we got there that they had hot grill tables where they prepare your food in front of you, for a change of pace we decided to try that. The kids aren't into sushi so they stayed at home to have pizza instead (I tried to call and see if they wanted to do the hot grill with us - but they were all to lazy to answer their phones - so they missed out this time). But Brooklyn had a great time she was AMAZED with the fire and the food was really good. Seeing that my mouth is still so sore and I am adjusting to the new chewing process steak was a challenge, but fun nonetheless. We may have a new Friday night gig - or we may have to at least switch off - next time we can take the rest of the kids I think they would enjoy it too. ......................................................................................................................................................................................................

SOME FUN FOR THE KIDS

I have spent so much time this week with appointments and installations that I haven't had a lot of time to spend with the kids and Kamdon and Bailey are about to go to their dad's for the month of July (we will miss them, especially Brooklyn - it will be very quiet for her) - so I decided to have some fun with them. We hit the MARBLE SLAB CREAMERY (so fattening and SO worth it!) I think Brooklyn wore more of her "coclate" than she ate - but they all seemed to enjoy it.

YUMMMMMMMMMMM! ........................................................................

Then we hit the movies - Kamdon and Bailey saw COLLEGE ROADTRIP and Brooklyn and I saw HORTON HEARS A WHO (or I saw it - she fell asleep about 20 minutes into it - after her snacks were gone). She slept the movie out in my lap and when she woke up I realized that she had a VERY stinky diaper that had leaked and my lap was soaked - fun for me. It was a really cute movie so we may have to try it again or at least buy it when it comes out on DVD she seemed really into the part she did watch. Kamdon and Bailey said their movie was really good too.

OUR CRAZY SIDE COMES OUT

.............................
We finally did it - we had our leopard print carpet installed. We put it in two rooms the study and the media room and I love it! We had planned to do it in our old house and never did so this has been in the works for a long time. The idea came from one of the Hard Rock Hotels (I think Orlando) - it was in one of their bars - leopard print carpet with red accents and I loved it. So naturally since our media room is decorated with all of our Hard Rock Cafe (from when Scott managed them) memorabilia - it seemed to fit. We even have the Hard Rock logo on the wall "LOVE ALL SERVE ALL". The study we decided to decorate with all of the souvenirs that we gather from our travels so it also seemed appropriate to have it be a wild and crazy room too- that's also where we are going to set up the salt water aquarium that I got for Scott for Christmas - maybe with some "lion fish".

SNAGGLE-TOOTH TO BRACEFACE

..........SNAGGLE-TOOTHE............................................BRACEFACE
(can you see it next to my front left tooth - yuck!)

Today I got the metal mouth. I have one tooth in the front that has really snaggle-toothed out there (Scott says it isn't noticable but that's all I see in pictures). So I decided to take 9 months to a year and fix it. I did choose the clear braces so they arent as bad but still NOT PRETTY. I had braces when I was in my early teens and like most I didn't wear my retainers so here I am repeating the process. I forgot how bad they can be - the whole inside of my mouth is all cut up and there is no graceful way to eat, so sorry to those I totally gross out over the next year - bear with me, heehee. Scott is already not a fan I think my kisses have been cut in half at least - I am just trying to stay beautiful for him.
Now Kamdon and I have something to do together each month - a trip to the Orthodontist - fun. My fellow braceface.

AM I CINDERELLA?

You Are Cinderella!

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Dignified and hard working. With a gentle and soft-spoken manner you have something many people don't. Patience. Even through the moments of heartbreak you're still able to hold onto all of your hopes and dreams. Bide your time; your dream will come true.

Which Disney Princess Are You?
I think I am actually more Ariel not soft-spoken, but I can be Cinderella - that's what Scott thinks - I was the poor slaving girl that got swept away into a life of pampering when I met him - heehee.

TWINKLE TOES

Having little girls is so fun - today we painted flowers on Brooklyn's toes - not easy seeing she moves constantly and doesn't sit and wait for them to dry but fun nevertheless. She will probably have the jewels picked off by the end of the day so we took a picture to remember them.

McDONALD'S ROADMAP ADVENTURE

Tonight, Brooklyn and I met Carrie, Brad, Presley and Sam for our first stop on our 'Ronald's Roadmap to Adventure' Itinerary - THE SPACE EXPLORATION. We have a McDonalds across the street from our house but we drive about 25 minutes out of our way only to find Space was out of commission - Bummer! The idea is that there are ten stops on the Itinerary - if you go at least 8 of them and get stamped at each one you can turn your map in at the end for 2 happy meals, a premium salad and an iced coffee. Each playland is a different theme from underwater, biggest happy meal ever, sailing, even an Amazon adventure - it should be fun as long as the rest of them are up and running. Carrie and her kids hit the RONALD"S TREEHOUSE without us. The kids were ok with not getting to play - they got ice cream instead and the happy meal toy was the monkey from Kung Fu Panda which Brooklyn was pretty excited about. I think we are going to be chicken nuggeted out by the end of the summer. See you guys next week for our next Adventure.

Poor Brad this whole blogging and taking random pictures embarrasses him - he was a trooper though.

POTTY TIME

Today was a BIG day at our house - Brooklyn pottied on her little potty for the very first time. She is so funny every time we have ever tried she grunts real hard and then says "can't do it" and we kept telling her "yes you can, try again". And today she got it. Then she followed it up later with an encore performance. She didn't seem like she really knew that she did anything but the excitement sure was fun for her. Now every time I turn around she is naked - I guess we are going to have to work on that part. And the fun begins, constant running to the bathroom - it is all coming back to me how fun potty training can be. I can't believe what a big girl she is. Next she gets some fun panties.

THIS MAY BE THE MOMENT IT ALL HAPPENED!

THE EVIDENCE!

"DID I DO THAT?"

......................................................AND THE BEST PART IS THE TOY FROM THE TREASURE CHEST- bracelets, rings, butterfly clips, tatoos, stickers and balloons.

A DAY AT HAWAIIAN FALLS

We were SUPPOSED to go on vacation this week with our friends Melissa and David but strong wills (Deb and Scott's) kept us here - Long Story. Anyway almost as good as a week vacation in Corpus Christi at a beach house (yeah right!) we spent a day at Hawaiian Falls. It is a huge water park in The Colony - actually a lot of fun and not really crowded - we were able to walk right up to most of the rides, and they have a great kiddie area. Brooklyn IS NOT afraid of the water at all - she bobbed all the way out in the wave pool and hit as many of the water slides as she was allowed - she is crazy brave. Even Jessica who has always been afraid of water slides attempted most of them on her own free will. I only did one and barely got wet - yeah! By the end of the day Brooklyn was asking to go to her stroller - I think we completely wiped her out as well as the rest of the kids. Over all it was a really fun day. Maybe tomorrow Scott will be over being mad at me.
