CAKES OF THE WEEK

I had two cakes for the weekend after Christmas - so I was a bit busy. One was for a high school aquaintence's daughter's first birthday and the other was for my neighbor Nicole and Matt's daughter's christening - both turned out pretty cute.

I made the frosty cake just for fun - mom and dad were coming over for dinner and the "Donkey" from Shrek was for Rhonda's husband's 40th birthday - his nickname is "JackAss"

Preschool has been alot of fun for Brooklyn - even though it is totally unofficial and really just a glorifyed play group she has really enjoyed her friends.

TRICK-OR-TREAT HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

THE NIGHT BEFORE HALLOWEEN

The night before Halloween downtown McKinney, TX did a huge trick-or-treating event - WOW! There were a ton of people out there. Brooklyn dressed up in her Belle costume. We spent about two hours out there collecting ALOT of dumdum suckers and tootsie rolls. Where is the chocolate what's up? But they had fun - we spent alot of time standing in line. Oh well - free candy right?

BAILEY'S YOUNG LIFE HALLOWEEN PARTY

Bailey has envolved herself with every group she can in school one of which is Young Life - they all dressed up tonight for their meeting - she and all her friends went for the sports theme she went as a baseball player - so cute! Looks like they had a pretty good turn out.

Kamdon had his 4th tournament today. It was pouring down rain, cold and overall just not a good day for golf. He scored a 103 - not his best but definately up from last year. Being the historian I tried to go out and take pictures but coming off of a week of the swine flu and then a week of pneumonia I realized real quick that we just couldn't do it - so I snapped a few and we were out of there.

Brooklyn was ready to get out there and support.

MY 20 YEAR CLASS REUNION - TRINITY HIGH SCHOOL

I cannot believe we have been out of school for 20 years - crazy! I don't feel that old. I was amazed at how some people looked exactly the same, some had aged so not gracefully, and then there were the ones who looked better (I hope I am in that category). It was such a poor turn out I was really disappointed at how many people were not there. I had pneumonia and I still went - suffered through the night, but it only comes once every ten years - right? I wish they had done it in the summer we possibly could have had a better crowd. Well maybe at the 30th. They did have a pre-reunion the night before at the Glass Cactus which I did not go to and everyone said it was way better and FREE. The actual reunion cost $70 per person to get in for a lame tex-mex buffet (which I couldn't eat because I was too sick).
