FINAL CAKE CLASS - FONDANT & GUM PASTE DONE

We are FINALLY finished with all of our classes - yeah!  The first three classes we had Terese and this class was taught by Susan (we loved her) but the class was a little repetitive of the end of course 3 and poor Carrie with her new pregnancy aches and pains wasn't to in to it.  This class was the very basics of Gum Paste and Fondant - I guess the harder stuff we teach ourselves (or look for a more advanced class somewhere else since Michael's doesnt offer any more) and I think I am going to get lots of practice - I like to push myself and try the harder cakes (wait til you see the one I am going to try for Brooklyn's birthday in January).  So for now we wait for a reason to make a cake.

Man I was looking pretty in this picture - wow scary!  Carrie too - not a good day for us.

Debbi's Cake ......................................Carrie's Cake

These cakes were HORRIBLE - trust me the pictures do wonders for them - mine went straight to the trash when I got home - Bad Final Cake

I think the cakes look awesome! I actually zoomed in because your flowers looked like silk ones in the smaller pic. Looks like it's time to enroll in a pastry school. :)

How funny! I can't believe you said they looked horrible and you put them in the trash. I think they both look fantastic! TRULY!
