My dad brought a gift to Matt and Amy's wedding - one I could have done with out. It wasn't for the bride and groom it was for anyone who would take it, a flu bug not a bad one but it was enough to knock me off my feet for a couple of days - Carrie too. I turned down the flu shot because "I NEVER get sick" - and look at me now. Poor Brooklyn she was plopped in front of the TV most of the day and she played the role of mom's gopher and she did a great job - my angel. That is until Bailey got home from school and jumped into mommy mode - she was then in charge of bathroom trips and doing laundry and feeding the dogs - she was a great help too. That is until Scott got home and took over as Mr. Mom - he did clean-up from the day and taking over laundry duty and bedtime. Then the second day I had David Perez join in and bring me chicken noodle soup and a happy meal for Brooklyn (he had heard she was being neglected - heehee) - he is such a good house husband. Thanks everyone for helping me through my illness.
