HOME DEPOT PROJECT OF THE MONTH

Today was kid day at Home Depot - this months project was a flower pencil holder (themed for Mother's Day) - which Scott has deemed his to take to work for his desk. She showed her friend Noah how to do it - she hammered most of the nails herself - although Noah had the gluing down and mommy and daddy did the stickers. We now have two buttons for her apron.

After we were finished we headed over to the Grand Opening at Pet Smart. We had to take Daisy with us and Brooklyn made sure that everyone who passed us knew
"her name is Daisy". They had all kinds of things going on from snacks to face painting and even a balloon clown. She wanted nothing to do with the face painting this time but got a flower balloon from the clown which she was not to sure about. They even got their picture done and put on a button. Wow, how life has changed. Before Brooklyn we were going out for trendy brunches on the weekends AFTER sleeping in and now we hit all the freebies around town - funny huh?. It's the simple things in life that kids love - that we now enjoy.

How fun. Thanks for filling us in on the Home Depot activity. My kids loved it. Clowns can be scary, so it's okay Brookie. And I am sorry, that dog is OVERWEIGHT!
