Today we went over to the Perez's for Isabella's first birthday party - Hello Kitty style. It was a quaint little party consisting of our family and Carrie and the kids - but the kids had a great time playing and helping with the frosting on her smash cake - it was so cute to watch all of them share - and of course they were on a serious sugar high afterwards.
She is such a little cutie!
And of course I made her cakes!
This was my practice Hello Kitty cake before I made the real one - like I said we have cake up to our eyeballs. But Practice makes Perfect right? The word Isabella is off center and only two whiskers on one side and her face is crooked - I know Carrie pointed out all the flaws - Thanks Carrie! Other than that it was ok to proceed to the real one.

The cakes are ADORABLE! Even the practice one looks amazing to me! Even the strawberries on it are perfect! Do you think you can figure out how to do an ice cream cake for Rick when we are out there for the holidays?
