Scott is the best daddy in the world - Brooklyn loves him more than anything (I think even more than me) - we are so lucky to have him. We started Father's Day off with breakfast cooked by mommy. I know under normal circumstances that would be a scary thing but for some reason today I was on in the kitchen. I made eggs, bacon and biscuits and didn't burn any of it - Whoa! Go Deb! it was really yummy.
We didn't really have any plans so after breakfast scott mowed the yard (why one of the boys didn't do it for him for Father's Day is beyond me) I think Scott secretly likes doing the yard though. Then in the afternoon Jessica had guitar lessons so he took off with her. We opened gifts later that evening one of which was a bike carrier for Brooklyn so they could spend time together taking bike rides. We rode down to the park - at first she was a little unsure but by the end loved it.
These cute little baskets I made for all the guys including Scott Wescoat, David Perez, My dad and Grandpa. The hamburger buns were made out of cupcakes cut in half, the burger patties were brownies, the condiments (ketchup, mustard and lettuce) was frosting and the fries were sugar cookies. So cute and soooooo yummy! I didnt get to see my dad today but I want him to know how much I love him - he is wonderful!
HAPPY FATHER'S DAY GUYS!
