THE BEST (CUP)CAKE EVER....

Every time I make a cake Brooklyn asks me if I am "making her best cake ever" - of course I am. So today was her day to make the best cupcake ever.

We went from McDonalds to downtown McKinney to walk the square until 2:30pm - we did a little shopping - this store was going out of business and had some smokin deals (Seven jeans for $25) - the kids played outside with the guys while we made our purchases and then we were off to meet Santa at Spoons and to decorate an oversized cupcake. Tons of fun for a toddler - permission to pile on as much sugar as they can and then lick it off and wash it down with some hot chocolate and marshmellows. Brooklyn had to put a little bit of everything on it. After she was done to my total disbelief she told me she wanted to go talk to Santa and said to come with her. I NEVER thought we were going to get her on his lap. So brave this year. I love having little kids at Christmas time - Kamdon and Bailey are just not in to it anymore - with them it's more about gift time which is totally understandable - why would they want to sit on Santa's lap.
