So all of a sudden after the weekend with Cousin Addie (Labor Day) Brooklyn is wanting to do her business on her big girl potty a lot more - still not every time but several times a day she takes off running screaming "I gotta go potty" - it is so funny. And of course I am running after her. Yesterday I even found her sitting and going all by herself - where is my baby going? And every time she goes she says "I doing it" - with arms in the air. I guess it is time to take her to the store and let her pick out her first panties (the REALLY thick ones - please - I am not in to the urine smell on everything) as well as more trinkets for the treasure chest at this rate it is going to go dry really fast. At one of her attempts while she sat waiting for something to happen she told me "I have some wonderful poopie". Wonderful is her new word - this past weekend she also told Amy "you have wonderful towels" as she headed to the beach carrying a stack. Such Big words.
This morning I was working on my blog (as usual) and walked in to find this in my kitchen - fridge standing wide open, Brooklyn with a yogurt which she had retrieved from the fridge, gotten her own spoon from the drawer, climbed up in her chair, opened and consumed in record time - with evidence on her nose. Before long all the baby will be gone out of her and we will have a complete BIG GIRL - she is changing so much every day (for the cuter of course) - she doesn't even need me for snacks anymore. I am so sad. Scott, there is no doubt about it - it's TIME for another! (he hates when I say that - which makes it that much funnier)

Yogurt on her nose and "I doing it" is so adorable! I can't wait to see her again! I'm with you- she is growing up too fast! You do need another one. :)
Julie needs another one too to occupy her days while the kids are in school - heehee - jump on the bandwagon
