Today is Kamdon's 15th birthday and already all he can think about is driving and working - I guess the typical teenage boy. We're going to hold off on the working and maybe a bit on the Driver's ED - I have one baby leaving me this week (for college) I need to slow the rest of them down. Poor Kam his birthday is at such a horrible time of the year - the very end of the summer. Most years we kind of hold off on a party and just wait for school to start so he can hand out invites but this year like a few in the past he has just opted for no party and "Gimme my gifts". So tonight Carrie and Brad and the kids came over for a little Pizza Hut and my first attempt at a cake without any instruction of exactly what to make - and I have to say I am quite proud - it came out GREAT! Watch out Betty Crocker I am on my way. He is big in to golf (taking golf class in school this year) so that's where the golf ball theme cake came from. As far as gift goes the only thing he wanted was an Xbox 360 and that is exactly what we got him so he could continue to play Call of Duty when Blane takes his Xbox to school. Also this way he can play online with Blane (he is going to miss having Blane around the most I think besides me that is). This afternoon he took Kamdon and Bailey to see Love Guru at the movies - they both like big brother time and will take it any chance they get.
