LILLY'S PURPLE PLASTIC PURSE

Carrie and I decided to put some culture in to our daughters lives and take them to see a production at the Children's Theatre - and it was WONDERFUL! Brooklyn has the book with CD of Lily's purple plastic purse so it was kindof cute to see it with characters. We got there a little earlier than Carrie and Presley so we hit the gift shop and what do you know they sell the purple plastic purses with the white sunglasses inside and of course "she had to have one" (Presley ended up with one too). We saw the later show so Brooklyn was good until the intermission and then she was all about going home (she was tired) and refused to have her picture taken with any of the characters at the end which I was bummed about but she loved the play - her and Presley laughed out loud several times - it was an experience that I would definately repeat - Madeline is coming soon - we may have to go see that one.
