DATE NIGHT - YEAH! We hardly ever get date night and now I know why. It was Sara's birthday so we all decided to hit the Dallas scene. We got Morgan and Kaitlyn to babysit - thanks girls, and we headed to Javier's for dinner. YUM! I guess I never really realized how expensive that place was because we have always used a gift certificate that Scott had - well we finished it off - all $500 of it - Wow! Well worth every penny of it though - Shrimp and Steak! After dinner we hit the cigar lounge and hung out there for a while (after all it was only 8:30 pm) - heehee nothing else in Dallas even opened yet - man we are old. It is so much fun to hang with other couples that we have so much in common. And with these guys we are always in for a good laugh. After it got dark - heehee again - just kidding it was finally 11:30 pm we headed over to Scott's friend Tommy D's bar - The CandleRoom - good times usually - tonight never got busy so we had to entertain ourselves with great stories from the past and laughing at the guys check out the waitresses young enough to date our children - that's right guys we saw it. After another two hours and a $170 tab - WOW! again - We headed home to retrieve our children and yes PAY the babysitters - we did stay out til 2:00 am though - we must still have it. Sara joked all night that she was going to have to take up a part time job just to pay for my birthday dinner out - all for good times Sara (which I think she had) - and we wouldn't have been there without the GC. Anyway cheers to good friends and good times - we had a BLAST - Happy Birthday!
