Scott and I woke up today and decided to get our Fair fix. We missed it last year and today is a beautiful day. We get out there pay $10 to park $22 to get in and then realize that there really isn't that much we want to see and the food is all over priced. So we walked around eating corndogs, roasted corn, ice cream bars and of course some cotton candy. Then we hit the kids petting zoo area and saw the LARGEST pig EVER - which Brooklyn really liked. We played one game - pick the duck from the duck pond and claim your prize - she got a baton with glitter and sparkly streamers (the best part is that it's just like Ruby's on Max & Ruby). We saw Big Tex and walked through a little bit of the car show - then decided we were done and wanted to go home and just RELAX, so that's what we did. Not a single ride, show or purchase. Oh well - maybe next year we will go on a date a hit all of the things we missed this year.
