The Fire Department in Frisco has this large attachment called Safety Town and it is soooooo cute - it is set up like a little city - streets, sidewalks, stop lights, homes, businesses and tons more - it is used to teach kids safety around town and the home. Every year they do a trick or treating event to help teach kids that you stay on the sidewalks and don't go in to the houses but you can go in the businesses - so fun. We dressed up the kids and went with Melissa and David and I think half of Frisco, McKinney, Allen and all the other neighboring cities (there were so many people there). The kids had a good time though and got a bucket full of goodies - much better than regular trick or treating because the houses are way closer together. We will definately put this on our yearly list of things to do.
